That’s right folks, after a month off, the Fresno Sci-fi & Fantasy Writers are BACK at A Book Barn in Clovis, California TONIGHT to coordinate the monthly Open Mic Night.

And it promises to be bigger and better than ever.

Located at 640 Clovis Ave, Clovis, CA 93612, on the corner of Clovis Ave and 7th Street, A Book Barn is hosting an Open Mic, Friday, June 8, 2012 from 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM. It’s a free, family-friendly event which includes readings from local authors and poets. We also welcome musicians and comedians (as long as the material is family-friendly).

You’re welcome to participate as a performer or relax and enjoy the evening as audience member – personally, I like to do a bit of both!

I will be your MC for the evening and I will be reading from some of my recent works written for the FSFW Write 1/Submit 1 Challenge.

My readings will be dedicated to Ray Bradbury, a Science-Fiction Giant (Martian Chronicles, Illustrated Man, Fahrenheit 451) whom we lost this week at the age of 91.

We will also have a raffle for A Book Barn gift certificate, and some of my art prints.
