Okay, I did some calculations the other day based on covers and interior pages, and barring more runaway scripts, we’re 25% of the way through our story!

This particular page had it’s obstacles, but the biggest was the top panel.  No perspective here, just parallel lines and some crazy angles, but it was enough to give me a few new gray hairs in my beard (yeah, that’s where they’re startin’).  Time to shave.

While it wasn’t in the original script, I thought it was important to have a visual cue that it’s time to vacate the premises, so I gave Kyton a hat to put on for when he goes out.  If I had thought about it more, I might have had him blow some dust off the hat, since, really, when was the last time he’s gone out?  Maybe fifty years ago?  But it turned out to be the second obstacle, as I spent some time finding just the right hat for this professor/creator/wise man.  What do you think?  Should the hat stay or should it go?
