Concept Art – Mechan Lion
Concept Art for a Mechan Lion from the upcoming Forsaken Stars Tale “The Gremlin’s Daughter.” The Mechans are my homage/tribute to all things “super robo” from Robotech to Transformers to Voltron to Gundam to Neon Genesis Evangelion.
While one of the giant robo style Mechans don’t figure prominently in the main plot of Forsaken Stars, it’s easily in the realm of possibility to do a Mechan one-shot or mini some time in the future.
I mean, who didn’t create their own version of the Transformers when they were a kid? Who didn’t fill reams of paper with dossiers of over fifty characters with their own skills, powers, abilities, personalities and agendas?
What? You were outside playing sports? Oh, okay, not you then.
