Forsaken Stars

I sincerely hope as we draw near to the end of this issue, you realize that I’ve tried to make it the best possible second issue I could, packed with characterization, backstory, action and humor, dark as it is.? This is one of my favorite moments so far, Sera getting Azzi to a medical tank (also called a medbed, but I prefer tank since it’s filled with protein gel), and she wishes that he could close his eyelids, and all he can do of course is give her this great lidless stare.

Then of course, after she’s already out the door, he grows them back, and–!
