It’s my wedding day. So, in honor of it, here is our own little Forsaken Stars Tale.
Once Upon a Time
There was a gargoyle
Who found an angel on earth.
He vowed to protect her light
From the dark of the universe
And the universe pummeled him into the ground.
Beaten and weary,
Broken and torn,
He nearly gave up
But she wouldn’t let him.
Her light spilled from her eyes, lips and fingertips
Filling his heart
And the gargoyle rose to fight another day.
For a thousand years
He will stand by her side
Ever her Guardian
And she his
While they work to make the world a brighter place.
