Kizo – The Thousand Mile Journey – Page 30
Kizo remembers that the survivors of the nanotech virus that consumed Medoa were put in stasis over two hundred years ago! Mother commands him to return to Mount Tomb to prepare to lead his people off planet in an attempt to escape the collapse wave. Kizo is unsure escape is even possible, but he also feels responsible for all the new life he has encountered on the world now known as Yurukin, a bastardization of the Japanese word for ghost and the American word “ruin.” It’s true this world is not what it once was, but the life born out of necessity has value! Kizo believes, and so, he is torn.
