In some ways a lot is going on, in other ways not enough is going on.

I just turned 44 last week and finished up one of the bleakest years of my life. I don’t want to go into it, but you will get an idea of it from reading any of my writing from this period.

And things have been getting better and my folks, brothers and sisters and their kids have been a blessing. I have also met some really cool people.

Anyway, if you follow the facebook page or twitter or my instagram @robsojourn, then you may already know that though I haven’t updated the main site yet, the “Year of Azzi” is continuing with two summer projects!

Firstly, “Azzi, Space Vampire” is a sketch-a-day summer project similar to last year’s Kizo, AND I hope to develop it into an animated short!

Secondly, I am following up this spring’s Vampire Lost short story with another Azzi short story, going back a bit further in his history, detailing how he met his great (and ultimately tragic) Delven love, Jenafree.

Thirdly, I couldn’t let Azzi hog the whole year, so every Sunday this summer, I am drawing Captain Sera Besh in various styles, poses, and clothing inspired by the amazing blondes that influenced her design and continue to influence her evolution.

I am experiencing some technical setbacks, so please bear with the poor quality of the art scans/photo uploads.

Thanks, as always, for your patience, and God Bless.
